Member of Third-Party Marketers Association

Our firm, Investment Management Distribution, has been accepted as a new member of the US-based Third Party Marketers Association (“3PM”).

We believe, this is an important step for us, as both US and European third-party distributors in this financial network share knowledge and best practice within sales, marketing and public relations, and it improves our ability to find the best solutions within our markets for institutional investors and asset managers.

The 3PM began in 1999 with seven member firms, and today brings together a global constituency of marketers, managers and industry product and service providers.
Over time, the Association has played an active and pivotal role in industry advocacy and education on topics ranging from regulations, firm development, and contracting, through marketing and sales best practices.

The membership roster includes established and new 3PM firms, investment management firms, service providers and other industry associates who support our endeavors.

The 3PM mission is to advance the outsourced investment management marketing and sales industry through

Education: develop an understanding of the importance (and complexity) of establishing a professional investment management marketing distribution and sales effort.

Information gathering: act as a central hub of industry information for fellow 3PM firms and investment managers, and

Advocacy: seek to work with state and federal regulatory agencies on a voluntary basis to support industry best practices.

In addition to 3PM, all three owners of Investment Management Distribution are active members of the CFA Society in Denmark, while two are CFA Charterholders. One owner, Niels-Ulrik Mousten, has served as Chairman of the Danish society.
